In Florida, our hot and rainy summers prevent us from planning much time outside to grill out. Moving into our neighborhood, it’s just about rained every afternoon in the last 3 months. Thankfully, I had a Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in-1 Griddlerwhen I hosted my Butterball House Party (from houseparty.com) so my grilling fun wasn’t dependent on weather. As I wanted a sort of football party themed party, I thought turkey burger sliders sounded fantastic. Turns out … they were.
This is how I made some amazing and simple Turkey Burger Sliders:
1 lb ground Butterball Turkey
1/2 oz (of a 1 oz pkt) Hidden Valley Dips Mix Original Ranch
Package slider buns (I used Martin’s sliced potato rolls)
This made about 10 thin slider patties. If you need more, just get 2 lbs ground turkey and use the full 1 oz package of Ranch dip mix. OR if you like a more robust flavor, us 1 oz ranch dip mix to 1 lb turkey.
I placed these on the griddler about 4 or 5 at a time and used the half way setting to grill both sides at once (saved on time and flipping). It only took a couple minutes per set to complete cooking.
Top with your favorite toppings. For our party, we went wild and included Butterball Turkey Bacon for a Turkey Bacon Turkey Burger Slider!
Even the hubby enjoyed his turkey burger slider after commenting how funny cooked ground turkey looks in comparison to regular beef.
