Week 7 posting was delayed from last week due to circumstances beyond my control.  Thankfully we were able to get back into the swing of things and complete week 7!  Click for the week 7 preparatory curriculum.  Then, look here for some of our activities.

I won’t bore you with the run down since we stuck to the curriculum.  This will be mostly a pic heavy post 🙂  Hopefully it’ll give you some ideas.  We did quite a bit of dry erase activities to trace stars, the number 7, and the letter G.  Additionally, we used coloring pages to color and some do-a-dot painting.

Lastly, I was planning to cut stars out of a finger painting, so I used some star stencils to draw stars on a thick paper

Then, I let the kid go to town with her finger paints.  This is her finished masterpiece.

The plan was to let it dry and cut out some of the stars I had traced on the back and then punch holes in them to hang her stars.  We didn’t quite make it that far … I was apprehensive about cutting her work.  Maybe it’s just a mommy thing.
