Master Your Family Schedule – A Book on Time Management for Parents

by Ivy B

I’m sharing my secrets to time management for parents!  As a mom who blogs, runs an Etsy shop, and gives time to myself, my husband, and my kids, I have to have all my ducks in a row.

Parenting comes with lots of time constraints doesn’t it?

As a first time mom, I was surprised at how busy we were.  Some of our full schedule was self-inflicted, true.  But, a lot was unavoidable … you know normal life stuff.  Then, we added the second baby. Our daughter started Kindergarten and extracurricular activities.  Life has gotten so busy that we don’t usually have a free weekend.

As a stay at home mom, I have been overwhelmed by the amount of responsibilities.  Even more so, I have (and sometimes still do) struggle with how little down time there is.  I have lamented that I just can’t get everything done.

In your parenting adventure, have you ever struggled with time?  There’s just not enough time in the day to get the house chores done, chase or entertain the kids, and meal plan.

Oh, did you want a night off?

If you don’t have time management strategies in place, you may have had difficulty finding that time.  But, your time to unwind is just as important as everything else you schedule.

I’m with you!  I’ve been a stay at home mom nearly 6 years and have had to adapt to new routines as I watch the days, weeks, and years pass by.  Sometimes it’s a blur.  And, I know how difficult it can be to fit everything in.  Heck, I know how hard it can be to totally forget something was planned.  Between doctors appointments, after school activities, and all the other things on your family’s schedule, it’s easy to forget to note another appointment.  Or, maybe you’ve totally forgotten an appointment?

I’ll let you in on a secret.  I have too!  I’m always thankful for the reminder calls or emails from the doctor’s office.  But, I go into a sort of panic mode.  If I don’t have it on the calendar, I have to fit it in and move things around.

But, it doesn’t have to be so difficult.  Nor does it need to induce anxiety.

Time Management for Parents

In the past couple weeks, I’ve shared some tips to help you be the boss of your family’s schedule, but I haven’t given you all the tools.  I don’t know if I’d say I was holding out, but I HAVE saved the best for last!  For a LIMITED TIME, I’m going to let you download my new e-book for free.  I’ve designed this book to help with time management for parents, especially stay at home moms.  These are strategies I use in my own home to organize and prioritize our everyday demands.  And, I show you how to master the time and buy more time.  More time to spend enjoying your family or to pencil in some time for self-care that you may be desperate for.

As a working mom, time management is so important. While our days may be filled with different activities, I think in the end all moms just want to find balance in everything we have to do. Looking forward to reading your book!

Time management is something that I really struggle with. If only there were a few more hours in each day! Looking forward to reading your book and learning some great tips!

As much as I would love a few more hours in the day, I just know it would fill up too. Make the most of the time you have 🙂 Hope it helps!

There is definitely not time to get everything done. As a mom to three boys who works part-time both in and out of the house, this schedule would be great for me. I’m always afraid I’m going to be late or miss an appointment.
