I received Tone Bath and Body Wash Petal Soft in Pink Peony and Rose Oil from Bzzagent.com in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
Opening the bottle for the first time, I was surprised that the scent was subtle. While I’m not exactly thrilled with the scent itself, that it’s so subtle, I’m not turned off by it. Come on in and read about Tone’s spa-inspired product.
This is a very feminine (floral) smelling body wash, which is never my top choice in scents for anything. To be fair, that is a completely personal opinion, and I know there’s plenty of ladies who would love this stuff. That said, that I wasn’t repulsed by it and figured I would still continue to use it after my review was over, and THAT should say a lot about it.
What I noticed after stepping out of the shower:
* I didn’t feel sticky or “squeaky” … there didn’t seem to be any soap residue on my skin.
* I could still faintly smell the soap up to about an hour after showering. Again, it was a pleasant smell. Hubby didn’t seem to notice it, so it doesn’t seem to invade anyone’s personal space.
The following day, I felt like my skin was still pretty soft. Now, is that because it’s truly softer from the soap, or because I’m checking since I’m trying to review the product fairly? I’m not certain.
After subsequent uses, I’ve grown to like the scent more and more. I smell clean and refreshed long after a shower and I’m not feeling like it’s drying my skin out. I have 3 bottles of soap in the shower and I’m actually thinking of taking out the other two and making this my everyday soap. Remember at the beginning of my post I stated I didn’t care for floral scents? This one won me over!
